Shoes

Trying to fill my own shoes.

Idioms: fill (someone's) shoes

To assume someone's position or duties.
During the day I am many different things to many different people. Not all of them are easy, not all of them are hard, sometimes I just plain don't know what kind of shoes I should be filling.
This morning alone I have filled the dog house training shoes, dish washer, shoes, house keeper shoes, Entertaining shoes, dressing attendant shoes, maker of breakfast shoes, help me find...shoes, Hair dresser shoes, nurse shoes, blogger shoes....
I always have on my wife, mother , grandmother, sister, and friend shoes.
I am looking forward to wearing my sheepherder shoes soon.
A few days when the only shoes I will be wearing are for me.

*Sigh*
